This policy explains what information The Coaches Notepad collects when you visit this website or join the waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and waitlist only. The Coaches Notepad app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.

Who we are

The Coaches Notepad is run by Joe Holland, its founder, who is responsible for your information. You can contact us at any time at hello@thecoachesnotepad.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your first name and email address
• The date and time you signed up

If you email us or reply to one of our emails, we will also have whatever you choose to tell us, such as your name, the phone you use, or feedback on the app.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not ask for payment details.

How we use it

• To send you updates about The Coaches Notepad and tell you when it launches
• To honour the waitlist offer, including free Pro access for the first 25 coaches
• To invite you to test the app as a Founding Coach, if you are eligible
• To read and reply to your messages and feedback, and use them to improve the app

We use your information because you have given us your consent by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

We will never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and contact you:

• Netlify hosts this website.
• Kit stores waitlist sign-ups and sends our waitlist emails. Kit may record whether you open our emails and click links in them, which helps us understand what is useful.
• Our email provider is used to send and receive individual emails.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this page, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address when the page loads.

Some of these services store data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, they use recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you stay on the list, we will review it no later than 12 months after the app launches and remove anyone we no longer need to contact.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you and send you a copy
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information
• Stop emailing you

To do any of these, reply to any of our emails or contact hello@thecoachesnotepad.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

The waitlist is for adult coaches. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as The Coaches Notepad grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we will let people on the waitlist know by email.
